Buddy Poppies

The poppy is the officially adopted memorial flower of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. The VFW "Buddy"® Poppy honors the service of men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Veterans and Civilians alike are encouraged to wear a poppy in honor of the price these Veterans paid.

Remember them every day, everywhere and in every way.

The Henry County (GA) Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 12180 would like to thank you and all veterans for service to our Nation. Veterans in the Henry County area that have served in foreign war conflicts or those that have served in South Korea are invited and encouraged to join us. We truly understand your experiences and are here to support your every need.
 
As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it was service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Vietnam, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria or the many Global War on Terror and Expeditionary Campaigns worldwide. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
