Let us never forget the 58,000 men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation, the United States of America, during the Vietnam War. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC chronologically lists the names of those Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our way of life. Remember them every day, everywhere and in every way.
The poppy is the officially adopted memorial flower of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. The VFW "Buddy"® Poppy honors the service of men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Veterans and Civilians alike are encouraged to wear a poppy in honor of the price these Veterans paid.
Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.

A man's country is not a certain area of land, of mountains, rivers, and woods, but it is a principle and patriotism is loyalty to that principle.
