Award presented in recognition of outstanding service from VFW Post 12180 for the VFW Public Safety Awards as our winner for the Post that was sent up to District. Post 12180 winner at post level for 2019 to 2020 that was submitted to the district for outstanding service as EMT/EMS for VFW Public Safety Awards. Officer T. Webb was selected by the National VFW Headquarters as the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year for the 2019 to 2020 awards. Officer Webb is part of the Henry County Police Department in Georgia. His packet was submitted by VFW Post 12180 for his outstanding courage during a health and welfare check gone wrong. He and few other fellow officers were injured in the line of duty during the incident. Congrats Officer Webb on a job well done! Officer T. Post 12180 Jr. Vice Commander Doss dropped of a donation of a bag of coffee to help the crew of Fire Station 1 (Engine 51) keep going during the evening and late shifts. A post member stopped by Henry County Sheriff's Department to drop off a bag od candy for their trunk or treat on Oct 30, 2020 and a bag of Thin Blue Line coffee from Black Rifle Coffee Company. We love our local first responders and LEO! Post 12180 Senior Vice Commander Jordan, Service Officer Boldoe, and Trustee and Public Affairs Officer Schultz presented awards to our EMT and Firefighter of the Year from Clayton County Fire Department.
